Just make an Adobe account and head on over to mixamo.com, upload your 3D model, and instantly get access to thousands of free, tweakable animations! As you explore the site you may recognize some animations as the mixamo library is one that I and many 3D artists leverage constantly, like the “bellydance”. Unfortunately the site hasn’t been updated with new animations in a while so the most recent cultural reference is probably “Gangnam Style”.
The system lets you rotate the object rather than the scanner (if you wish), so you can do head-and-shoulders scans on a rotating chair, or put someone or something on a motorized turntable. The lighting does have to be very even for this to work, though: If it is not, you get odd colors in the final model from the shadows as the subject rotates.?

The other new thing that’s embedded in the screen is the fingerprint scanner, which has been moved from the back of the phone. The S10’s scanner is ultrasonic, which is supposed to be more reliable and harder to spoof than the optical in-screen fingerprint scanners we’ve seen on the OnePlus 6T and other phones. It even works if your finger is wet.
